Coffee in Newbury
This is well-timed break in Costa Coffee in Newbury. I have cycled here for the fun of doing it, and also to buy some Cheerios for Michael’s breakfast tomorrow morning. It is just over 25 kms to cycle here, with quite a lot of it along the canal towpath.
The coffee stop is well-timed since looking out I can see raindrops falling. It has been just a little sunny though not too warm. I guess since it is September now, the autumn is almost upon us, and there is little chance of a summer now coming to England.
Annoyingly my credit card has been hacked. Well, Nationwide had put a block on it since an attempt was made to get small sum which they did, but then an automatic process spotted it was likely fraud try vi Napster. Now they know it is a valid card, I am at risk it seems, so I have ordered a replacement which will take a few days to come. That means that I will have to buy the guitar on my debit card, not a problem really, but it means I pay up front. Oh well, better than being ripped off by someone using the credit card and having to sort that out.
