Decorating done, time in Swanage …
Now that we have finished the decorating (and it does look good) we have been able to have some time off in Swanage for good behaviour. We went down over the Bank Holiday weekend and had reasonable weather, and there were even people enjoying the beach and the sea.
We did a little tidying of the garden and continue to be happy that the plants that Hicky gave us are still growing strongly and adding some colour to the small but happy garden.
We cycled round Poole Harbour on one of the days, doing some shopping in Poole, and then on our last day, we went out in very discouraging cloud and gloom but were amazed that as we arrived at Swyre Head the sea mist and clouds parted and we had sunshine. The light was so soft due to the residual mist - and it added to the atmosphere.
A lovely time indeed.
