Finished the decorating
Hey - we’re done! It was a bit of hard work, and some late evenings, some early morning muscle-aches, and some tricky moments of wallpaper cutting - but now the job is done. We are pleased with the outcome and next week the carpet-layer comes to finish the renovation, and then we will move back in.
And this Bank Holiday weekend we are going down to Swanage for a rest and some recuperation. It is always lovely down there - even if the weather is not so wonderful. Hopefully the traffic won’t be too awful - must check on the UK Traffic web site before we leave.
And of course Ally is getting more and more excited about seeing Laurie and Sylvia and the children, and then having Michael for the week. She has booked a Thomas the Tank engine visit - should be fun. Oh, and next week we are going to Tamworth for a visit. This serves the dual purpose of getting the car serviced at the very nice Renault garage there, and going to the Snowdome to have a day learning to Snowboard. Whoa!
