A better day already
Today is a better day and things feel better all round. The sun is out and we will be cycling soon. We have been decorating this morning and have finished the painting now. Wow - that ceiling was a large area, but it looks good now and we are looking forward to getting most of the paper hung tomorrow. We have chosen some plain paper to paint, and also some paper for one wall which has poppies on it. We are just hoping it won’t be over the top. Pictures soon … And we won a child bike seat on Ebay so we can have one here as well as one in Mallorca.
And Ally has sorted out her helping-out loan and things sound much more positive there. My irrational anger about it has subsided and I guess we all need to learn and grow from difficult and even self-inflicted experiences. We can all aspire to do so - me included. Ally is so much more calm and reasonable than I am - something to reflect on and learn from.
