She is so unrealistic …
We were happily talking this morning when our quietness was interrupted by the phone. Without revealing too much, it was a request for £3000 from Ally to bail someone out. This is not the first time, and I was almost irrationally annoyed - it being nothing to do with me directly. It was mostly getting to me since we had discussed with the party in trouble about her credit card bill, and how she should take the opportunity of having some extra money coming in in the first 6 months of the year to pay it off. But no, she may have paid some off, but now it appears her overall debt has risen from £2500 to £3000. The whole issue is around denial, lack of openness, very poor basic financial sense, and generally causing much concern in others. The money is really not the point. Getting real is.
